Österlen is known for being magically beautiful with orchards, galleries, cafes, flea markets, rolling nature and wonderful beaches. The tour takes you both inland and along the sea. It's hillier than you think cycling around here. Extra nice to then live comfortably on classic Skånegårdar.

Day 1
Simrishamn
Österlen's capital Simrishamn dates back to the 1100th century. Picturesque pastel-colored houses with beautifully carved doors are typical of the area. You stay at Svea Hotel, which is located by the sea by the cozy marina. Once you have settled into the hotel, it may be time to look around the ancient city. In the evening, a good dinner is served to a wonderful sea view.Day 2
Simrishamn - Tomelilla (bike ride 30 km)
The bike ride takes place in the middle of the rural landscape between apple orchards, meadows and the beautiful Skåne farms. Among rolling rapeseed fields, studios, flea markets and cozy cafés, it is easy to thrive. The bike ride ends in Tomelilla which is today's destination. The family-run guest house Onkel Enkel offers dinner and a peaceful environment.Day 3
Tomelilla - Kivik (bike ride 30 km)
The cycling holiday continues towards the popular Kivik, known for its market and cultivations. Kikvik is incredibly beautiful along the sea. This bike ride is the hilliest on the whole trip, so load the bike basket with a happy mood and some goodies. Stop at all the strawberry places, studios and cafes you find and enjoy life. The last kilometer before you reach the charming Hotel Blåsingsborg, it goes really uphill. You will soon notice that it was worth the effort. The dinner, the atmosphere and the tranquility are the great reward for the day.Day 4
Kivik (own excursions)
Few landscapes are as associated with summer as Skåne. Unpack your swimwear, hiking boots and some snacks and go on a journey of discovery. Visit Kiviksmusteri, Äpplets Hus, the fishing harbor and Stenshuvud National Park. The sea is present everywhere so take the opportunity to feel the sand between your toes and take a cooling dip before it's time to enjoy the evening's dinner.Day 5
Kivik - Simrishamn (bike ride 18 km)
After two wonderful days in Kivik and the surrounding area, it's time to return to Simrishamn. Take advantage of the day and stop in Rörum, here are also Mandelmanns Trädgårdar and Franskans Creperie. Rörum's beach has an exceptional location, surrounded by orchards, beach slopes, beech forest, junctions and in the north the national park Stenshuvud. Discover the Scanian old fishing village, Vik. Vik is located on a narrow strip of beach below the high sand dunes, surrounded by orchards and is the oldest of Österlen's seven fishing villages. The varied Scanian landscape is like a lisa for the soul. Put the map aside and follow the bicycle signs back to Simrishamn.1 Hotel night Hotel Svea, part in a double room

Right now at the time of writing, it is fantastic Isar on the Göta Canal and if it is not possible to skate, it is very nice to hike along the Winter Canal.

Cycling holiday on southern Öland with Alvaret, Start Mörbylånga
The adventure starts already on the way to Öland. The journey over the Öland Bridge is both exciting and beautiful. The Öland Bridge is 6072 meters long and was inaugurated in 1972, the bridge is no longer Europe's longest but the longest in Sweden (the Öresund Bridge is longer but also belongs to Denmark). The bike ride starts from Mörbylånga. From here you cycle along the sea to the southern end of the island. Experience Stora Alvaret - one of the world's most distinctive cultural landscapes. Mighty, desolate and dizzyingly beautiful in a strange combination.
